In this article, we will be going over the process of how to display custom post field values in the sidebar of a post page.
The first step would be customizing an existing feature form. To do so, navigate to Toolbox >> Form Manager and click Customize on the preferred feature form. (or click Edit if the form is already customized)
Add the custom field on the preferred form and click Save Changes:
Please make sure to enable Display View under Display Settings for this newly created field:
The next step would be navigating to Toolbox >> Sidebar Manager and clicking on Customize on Post Single Page sidebar (or clicking on Edit if it is a custom sidebar):
And drag and drop down the widget called Bootstrap Theme - Module - Post Meta Details v2.0 to the Drag-N-Drop Order section:
Now login as a member who can post this feature and fill out the custom fields added:
This new custom field will start appearing on the sidebar after saving the changes:
The other option is to place the widget shortcode inside the Post Details code:
[widget=Bootstrap Theme - Module - Post Meta Details v2.0]
This takes the custom fields and places them below the body of the post:
