Displaying Top-Level and Sub-Level Categories On The Homepage

It is possible to display selected Top-Level or Sub-Level Categories on the homepage. In this article we will use the Streaming Top Categories for this example, to display sub-level categories, use the Streaming Sub Level Categories instead. 

To display Top-Level Categories on the homepage, navigate to Settings >> Design Settings >> Homepage tab >> Select Streaming Top Categories option under Select Content to Display section:

Clicking on Edit Settings will display a module where this widget can be edited further:

The next step would be navigating to My Members >> Member Categories and start adding related images to each category:

The recommended image size is 400px x 200px.

If Only Show Categories with Photos setting is disabled (under Edit Settings), the category will display on the homepage regardless if it has an image added or not:
